Samantha Burk began illustrating digitally and soon fell in love with the process of making art. This love of art led them to MPASS Education, where they now work as a children’s book and curriculum illustrator. In line with MPASS’s goal of bridging the gap between knowledge taught in school and knowledge utilized in real life, Samantha works hand-in-hand with talented student writers to bring to life stories which entertain and educate students. When not working with MPASS, Samantha interns with Junior Achievement, a non-profit which educates students on work-readiness and financial literacy. They are pursuing bachelor’s degrees in psychology and criminology from Indiana University, and hope to one day go into social work.
